The property was built in 1966 and was designed by the Penzance architects Truscott & Miller. The location was a former quarry from which granite for the local houses and barns was quarried.

The property has a large open plan lounge and dining area with a log fire and a superb Cornish Delabole slate floor. A sloping timber beamed ceiling, which is approximately 5m high gives the lounge a unique appearance. There is a small 'Minstrels' gallery with a wooden staircase. Two large sliding patio doors lead to an external first floor balcony with Westerly facing rural views and excellent evening sunshine and sunsets.
There is a 3 seater and 2 seater leather sofa along with a single lounge chair.
A large, extending Maple dining table with six dining chairs forms the dining accommodation within the lounge area.
